Easter advertising often leans on familiar imagery– colorful eggs, playful bunnies, and the promise of fresh beginnings. Yet, within these well-worn symbols lies plenty of room for creativity. Each year, brands reinterpret these elements in their own way, blending humor, emotion, and sometimes sheer randomness to capture attention in an increasingly crowded content landscape. From lighthearted takes that embrace the festive spirit to stories that go a little deeper, Easter campaigns rarely follow a single formula. This year is no different.

So, here we are with 5 awesome Easter 2026 commercials that don’t just rely on tradition; they play with it, stretch it, and occasionally flip it on its head.

1. Lidl Austria: The Beat Of Freshness

Have you ever wondered why rabbits twitch their noses so rapidly? It is because they have been shopping for fresh vegetables at Lidl.

German supermarket chain Lidl launched this humorous ad to demonstrate the freshness of its products by subjecting them to the judgment of the most unexpected food experts– rabbits! The ad showcases a bunch of bunnies (noticed the cute wordplay, eh?🤪), aided by over 100 million olfactory receptors, identifying different scents over long distances and locating sources of fresh food. The fresher the veggies, the quicker the noses of these freshness detectives move.

Maybe we all need to get ourselves a couple of rabbits to avoid purchasing stale veggies this Easter!

2. Marquette Food Co-Op: Easter Sale

If you have ever felt that the entire concept of money is overrated and believe that the age-old barter system was a much better medium of exchange, you’ll love this ad😆

The ad shows a Marquette Food Co-Op cashier scanning items for a customer, who he’s also looking at in between and smiling at. Just when you begin wondering whether he’s simply playing ‘nice’ or has actually got the hots for the customer, the third possibility (and the truth) reveals itself. Upon being asked whether he’d like to pay via cash or card, the customer, who’s dressed up as a bunny, lives up to his attire and asks the cashier innocently if he’d accept eggs.

If you think the customer was funny, wait until the store’s manager shows up, also dressed up as a bunny, asking the cashier to take the eggs offered by the customer🤣

3. M&S Food

Delicious, delectable, drool-worthy– honestly, I can’t add enough adjectives to describe the mouth-watering food items on display in this rather tantalizing M&S Food Easter ad from this year.

From luxury fruited hot cross buns and fluffy buns to juicy Vostizza currants soaked in M&S Luxury Gold Tea, the ad features a whole range of yum-loaded delicacies. And there isn’t much you can do other than smacking your lips while waiting in anticipation of an invitation to an Easter feast!

4. Chocolats Favoris: Easter Chocolates on the Loose!

Alert fellas! Following a clever plan devised by Charlie the fox, some of our favorite Easter characters have escaped from the Factory😮

But don’t you worry; they were last spotted at a few Chocolats Favoris stores, as advertised in this ad campaign. So, be on the lookout for them– you’ll possibly find them at your nearest Chocolats Favoris store!

5. Tenderstem: Easter But Better

So, you thought Easter was all about lamb, ham, eggs, and turkey? Well, premium broccoli brand Tenderstem thinks otherwise!

The ad shows a broccoli-caricature being photographed as it flaunts its versatility by putting its sweet and nutty side on display, rightfully earning the moniker Brocco-lovely! Nope, I never imagined a piece of broccoli to have such shades of fun about it.

Wrapping Up

And that’s a wrap of some of the most awesome Easter 2026 commercials. Easter advertising doesn’t always follow a single narrative, and that’s exactly what makes it interesting. Some of these Easter 2026 commercials will make you smile, others might leave you amused, and a few simply stand out for doing something different. Together, they offer a snapshot of how brands are approaching Easter in 2026 through eggs, bunnies, and everything in between.

On that note, we, at ClickInsights, wish you a joyful Easter filled with happiness, love, and fresh beginnings.

We’ll be back with more amazing ads for you. Till then, stay tuned!
