So, here we are with 5 brilliant Halloween commercials from this year that showcased just how powerful and playful Halloween advertising can be.

1. Yahoo: Reply All is Scary

Do you know what’s scarier than ghosts, ghouls, and goblins? If you have ever hit the ‘Reply All’ button mistakenly while responding to an email, you already know the answer!

Online search portal Yahoo gave us a glimpse into what is possibly the worst fear of many by creating an ad campaign around the sheer embarrassment of being the guy who mistakenly hits the ‘Reply All’ button. The ad follows comedian Steph Barkley, who accidentally clicks “reply all” while working on her laptop in a coffee shop. What follows next are dreadful stares and numerous emails as her inbox explodes.

If you’re one of those lucky ones who can’t relate to this advert, may the horror of inadvertently clicking that dreaded button never find you. Amen!

2. Burger King: Vampires Have Feelings Too

We live in an ever-evolving world wherein you always have to be conscious of everyone’s sentiments– even those of the vampires!

Burger King’s 2025 Halloween ad campaign showcases that, just like humans, even vampires can be sentimental– well, less senti, more mental! The ad shows a family at a Burger King outlet imitating a vampire as the vampire family sitting on a nearby table takes umbrage at their act.

Thankfully, the vampire family settled at only baring their fangs at them and decided against giving them a live demonstration of how those were supposed to be used🫣

3. Fanta: Wanta Fanta

Soft drink brand Fanta teamed up with Universal Pictures and Blumhouse to haunt your fridge and your taste buds this Halloween.

The ad features a legendary cast of characters ranging from Chucky doll and Freddy Fazbear to the Grabber and M3GAN. The four icons are seen employing plenty of horror tropes in this 30-second spot as the protagonist runs for cover to enjoy his Fanta in peace. Spoiler alert: that possibility isn’t available to him.

4. Michaels: Terrifying Twins

So you thought sibling rivalry was a thing only known to humans? This Michaels advert will probably make you think again.

The commercial reintroduces the spooky twins from Michaels’ 2024 Halloween campaign, who seem to have taken a leaf out of Wednesday Addams’ when it comes to ramping up the gothic quotient. The siblings even remind us of this scene, where Wednesday gets her room at boarding school and makes her half of the room gothic.

Another similarity, of course, is how loving they are towards each other.

5. Halloween Fright Nights: Souls For Sale

It seems that just like sibling rivalry, even workplace competition is a sentiment that’s shared across the board in the supernatural realm.

This advert features a group of monsters, witches, ghouls, and every other creature from the dark, as they place their bids for a young woman. But unlike the human world, it doesn’t matter who wins the bid here, as the end result is going to be the same regardless of the winner– the brutal and spine-chilling death of the woman.

Imagine being the centre of attraction to these beings and being bid upon by this lot– no kind buyers here!

Wrapping Up

And that’s a wrap of some of the best Halloween 2025 commercials. The eerie storytelling in these ad campaigns proves that Halloween marketing can be a masterclass in creativity. As the ghosts fade and the pumpkins get packed away, these ads will continue to linger in memory.

We’ll be back with more wonderful ad campaigns for you. Till then, stay tuned!
