Wow, it almost feels like forever since we did a #FunnyFridays series. But like I have always said, access to quality content is our audience’s fundamental right and that right may sometimes be delayed, but must never be denied! So, here we are yet again with some hilarious ad campaigns that will add your weekend fun.

I know you’re probably thinking why we haven’t been covering Father’s Day ad campaigns, especially when it is just a couple of days away. Don’t you worry, we’ll be covering those soon (as soon as we have enough good ads to write about tbh!). Until then, we’ll leave you with these 5 funny Mother’s Day 2026 commercials that turned their parenting struggles into laughter.

1. Westfield: Under My Roof

Every mother loves her children– unless of course they step into adulthood, drop every pretence of being responsible, and live off their parents’ money, under their roof, happily whiling away their time while doing nothing worthwhile at all!

That’s when some mothers lose it. But their maternal love is too strong to simply show their loafing children the door and they instead have to rely on music-laden commercials like the one released by Westfield this Mother’s Day to politely pass on the message.

2. Amazon: World’s Best Performance

If you gave your mom another one of those “Best Mom in The World Coffee Cup” or “World’s Best Mother Cushion”, this ad is for you.

This Amazon advert showcases mothers practising how they would thank their children upon receiving the same old gifts that they have gotten accustomed to getting every Mother’s Day, feigning surprise, joy, and emotions all at once! After all, “World’s Best Mom” will have to deliver the world's best acting performance too if she keeps receiving the same presents every season.

3. AJIO: The Slipper

All right guys, this is not funny anymore! When multiple brands create ads on moms getting fed up with receiving those repetitive Mother’s Day gifts every year, the issue is indeed a serious one. And this AJIO ad shows what would happen if moms decide to rally against these generic Mother’s Day presents.

The ad showcases some Indian mothers doing target practice with that one friend that’s always stood by them in their journey of motherhood– slippers! This rather special relationship takes an even deeper meaning on Mother’s Day when their kids give them the same old generic gifts mentioned above, year after year.

If you have to do the bare minimum, gift her a pair of slippers that they can use on you. At least be a bit creative with your gifts, fellas!

4. R for Rabbit: Tough Moms

While children are little bundles of joy who deserve every bit of our care and affection, giving in to their tantrums is surely not the best way of doing it. Instead, parents need to put their foot down and discipline their children as and when required, as shown in these series of ads by the Indian baby care and parenting products brand, R for Rabbit.

The first ad shows a working mom in a virtual meeting with her colleagues while her young boy creates a complete ruckus all around her. However, when he spills coffee on her laptop and work table, she decides to discipline him and we see him wiping away the coffee from the laptop and table with a cloth, and fixing the mess that he had created, earning the mother a nod of appreciation from her colleagues as well as her house help.

The funniest bit was the female colleague pointing at the upside-down scooter from across the laptop just when the kid thought that he had finally tidied up the room.

The company launched another advert showing a mother standing her ground at a restaurant, even while her daughter kept throwing tantrums for a cold drink despite having a cold.

And here’s another one where a mother takes the remote from her son and switches off the TV, and everyone in the family silently supports her while the kid keeps crying and looking at everyone in the family to come out in his support. Unfortunately, the poor lad finds no support from anyone and has to go out to play.

You see, when a mother decides to stand her ground, there aren’t many things in the world that can make her change her mind.

5. Westfield: School Dress-Up

In case, the first Westfield ad made you think that an irresponsible grown-up son was a mother’s worst nightmare, think again.

Westfield released another music-filled advert this Mother’s Day that perfectly summed up the struggles of motherhood, especially when it comes to preparing dresses for their daughter’s school dress-up the next day– at 2am in the morning!

You see, they wouldn’t have nightmares if they can’t sleep at all!

Wrapping Up

And that was a wrap of yet another #FunnyFridays segment wherein we covered the funniest Mother’s Day 2026 commercials. While Mother’s Day advertising is often dominated by emotional tributes and heartfelt thank-yous, these brands proved that laughter can be just as powerful a way to celebrate motherhood. Whether it was moms trolling their grown-up children, calling out repetitive gifts, standing firm against tantrums, or surviving late-night school projects, these ads reminded us that motherhood is equal parts love, patience, resilience, and a healthy sense of humor.

Stay tuned because Father’s Day is right around the corner– and if the dads are lucky, they might just get their own #FunnyFridays special too!

This article is a really entertaining roundup of Mother’s Day commercials that cleverly use humor to highlight the realities of motherhood in a light and relatable way. I like how it shows that brands often use comedy, everyday family situations, and emotional storytelling together to create ads that feel both funny and meaningful at the same time. It’s interesting to see how different companies take similar themes—like parenting struggles, family chaos, and appreciation for mothers—and present them in creative ways that connect with audiences on a personal level. The examples also demonstrate how advertising can balance entertainment with emotional impact, making the message more memorable. This strongly connects to Programming Assignment Help By Expert Coders, as both creative advertising and…
