Eid this year doesn’t quite feel right. Iran, Pakistan, Afghanistan, and much of the Arab world are up in flames with human lives paying the price for the unchecked ambitions of a few! Naturally, Eid festivities this year are marked by an eerie air of sombreness, which is also reflected in the below-par Eid 2026 campaigns that we have seen so far. Fortunately, some brands took it upon themselves to underscore the importance of kindness and empathy in these testing times and came up with Eid 2026 commercials where compassion takes centre stage.

In a time when division feels louder than ever, these stories choose connection over chaos– offering quiet, powerful reminders of the values that truly define the spirit of Eid. So, here are 5 heartfelt Eid 2026 commercials that rose above the noise of conflict to remind us why kindness, empathy, and shared humanity still matter.

1. RHB: Ruang Harapan

If you’ve been following our blogs on various ad campaigns, you will know just how fond we are of real-life heroes and how we tend to celebrate them. And Malaysian multinational financial services group RHB has time and again created ad campaigns around these real-life protagonists.

The ad opens with the owner driving a woman and her students off his property, where she has been holding classes for orphaned children. The rest of the ad showcases how the woman and her students overcome every obstacle to pursue their goals. It is later revealed that the woman is portraying Cikgu Rahayu, a Malaysian educator and activist who co-founded Buku Jalanan Chow Kit and is renowned for her advocacy in education and child rights.

Cikgu Rahayu’s commitment to her cause and her students’ efforts prompted even the stubborn property owner to undergo a change of heart. And that’s exactly what Eid teaches us about– forgiveness and acceptance, that every new beginning begins with an open heart.

2. Etiqa: Dongeng Pak Delulu

Speaking of heroes, Etiqa’s Eid 2026 campaign throws the spotlight on the quiet strength and sacrifices of everyday heroes around us.

The ad opens with a young guy getting a haircut from a local barber, Pak Amirul, who has earned the nickname “Pak Delulu” for his habit of narrating tall tales that often blur the lines between imagination and reality. On this particular occasion, Amirul tells the boy the stories of three superheroes who can move around without touching the earth, can sense danger beforehand, and can communicate their thoughts without saying anything.

While everyone laughs these stories off as mere figments of imagination, the young boy sees the truth behind these stories when he visits Amirul’s house on Eid and comes across these “heroes”. These heroes are a man in a wheelchair, a blind man, and a mute woman– all from within Amirul’s community and people whom he treats with the utmost respect and kindness.

Sometimes, the greatest acts of compassion lie in making people realize their worth, especially those who aren’t considered of much worth by the rest of the world.

3. MR. DIY: Raya Sama-Sama

While being compassionate is one of the greatest human attributes, infusing kindness with empathy is even more important, as showcased in this advert.

The ad features a man named Izzat who is unable to leave for his hometown on Eid due to flights being cancelled because of bad weather. While his colleague is kind enough to invite him over to his place until the flights resume, Izzat can't stop thinking about his pregnant wife, who’s due for delivery. Irked by his colleague’s excitement for Eid, Izzat lashes out at him in frustration over being stuck away from his home on Eid.

However, when Izzat finally gets the news of his wife delivering the baby, his host and friends hit celebratory mode. Upon speaking with his host’s son, Izzat further realizes why he had to often take leave from the office– something that he previously saw as a nuisance.

While kindness offers a soothing touch to the pain, empathy helps understand it.

4. Malaysia Airlines: The Crossroads

The greatest acts of kindness are the ones that are shown towards complete strangers. Malaysia Airlines launched this lovely spot to drive this message home, and they couldn’t have done it any better.

The ad features a Malaysia Airlines employee taking refuge at the shop of an elderly mechanic when it starts raining, and his bike breaks down. Not only does the mechanic let him stay over at his shop, but he also offers him his lunch so that he can break his fast. Also, he fixes his bike without charging him anything for it.

You see, journeys are rarely made alone. Along the way, there are people who appear– sometimes only for a moment– yet leave a kindness that stays with us long after we part. This ad is a fitting tribute to all such kind souls.

5. Vim Pakistan: End The DISHcrimination

While class-related discrimination is a bitter truth in many parts of the world, it manifests itself in the worst possible ways in South Asia, wherein separate utensils are used by the owners and the house help. However, this advert by the dishwashing brand Vim seeks to put an end to all such forms of DISHcrimination.

The ad opens with the lady of the house asking her house help to wash and arrange the dishes for Iftar. When she sees how spotless and clean the dish is, she realizes that while the dishwashing soap has done a perfect job at cleaning the dish, she needs to cleanse her mind, which she does by laying out the Iftar meal for her house help in the same dish that her family uses.

When God doesn’t discriminate, His creations have no business doing it either!

6. Foodpanda Malaysia: Bukan Sekadar Pesanan

And here’s a bonus advert for all our lovely readers! They say what goes around comes around. This Foodpanda advert is a perfect example of that.

The ad shows how a small act of kindness by a food delivery boy helps him later. Honestly, this ad would make you feel like God watches over those who watch out for others. And maybe, that’s true!

Wrapping Up

And that’s a wrap of some of the most compassion-filled Eid 2026 commercials. Eid, at its heart, has never been about how loudly we celebrate, but how deeply we feel for one another. And perhaps, in a year weighed down by conflict and uncertainty, that truth feels more relevant than ever. Because in times like these, the most meaningful celebrations aren’t the ones filled with noise, but the ones filled with humanity.

We’ll be back with more lovely ad campaigns for you. Till then, stay tuned!
