The month-long wait has come to an end as Muslims across the world rejoice in the Eid festivities. But while Eid holds great significance to the Islamic world, it is equally important to brands who wish to make the most of this festive period. And when it comes to Eid marketing, Southeast Asian Aidilfitri ads steal the show. Backed by compelling storylines that are seeped into Southeast Asian traditions, their Aidilfitri commercials bring forth the true essence of Eid.

So, here we are with 5 heartwarming Southeast Asian Aidilfitri 2025 commercials that won everyone’s hearts with their impressive storylines.

1. RHB Group: Sulaman Kebersamaan

RHB Group has developed a knack for dishing out the loveliest Aidilfitri commercials year after year. And this one is one hell of a tearjerker.

The ad centers around Adib Khalid, the director of the Baju Raya Project- an annual not-for-profit initiative dedicated to collecting pre-loved Raya clothing from donors across the community. The commercial highlights the longing that underprivileged kids often feel for Eid clothes, which inspired Adib to set up the Baju Raya Project to ensure that nobody is left behind during the Hari Raya celebrations.

After all, Eid clothes are not just fabric and stitching, but a symbol of love and togetherness. Every piece donated gives meaning and joy to those in need.

2. BHPetrol: Hingga Hujung

Malaysian petroleum company BHPetrol’s 2025 Aidilfitri ad showcases what lifelong relationships truly mean and how they are forged and maintained.

The ad opens with a retired army major telling his son that he would like to get married. Despite the son’s several efforts to dissuade him, the man decides to go ahead with his decision. It’s later revealed that the woman he is marrying is none other than the woman that he’s been married to for forty years, whom he’s remarrying due to certain memory issues. His loving wife understands that he doesn’t have much time left and therefore, happily obliges because of her promise to care for him forever.

If that isn’t eternal love, I don’t know what is!

3. Air Selangor: Di Sebalik Syukur

Aidilfitri often brings with it questions that could either bring a smile to someone’s face or keep tugging at their hearts. This ad by Malaysia’s biggest water services provider Air Selangor shows a couple, Alyas and Anum, who have faced these moments year after year with their families.

Throughout the ad, we see their family members either taunting or showing concern about them for not having children. However, it is later revealed that Anum is incapable of conceiving children. Thankfully, with each other’s unwavering love, they have grown stronger in accepting fate. They believe that a sincere and grateful heart is the key to true happiness and decide to adopt children to fulfill their dreams of parenthood.

Like I always say, love isn’t really dependent on biological bonds!

4. Petronas: Who Could That Be?

Sometimes the most unexpected and unplanned meet-ups lead to the most unforgettable and touching stories. This lovely Petronas commercial shows one such story.

The ad follows a young boy who visits his distant relatives on Eid since his mother couldn’t make it. Throughout his stay, he is greeted with love and affection by his hosts. However, when all the guests leave, he finds out how lonely the seemingly happy couple feels and how eagerly they await such family gatherings on Hari Raya.

But that’s not the only truth he uncovers. Apparently, he’s landed up at the wrong house. But the love and affection he receives from the lovely old couple is as genuine as it gets, which prompts him to promise them that he will visit them again next year. Now, that’s what I call the true spirit of togetherness.

5. U Mobile: Suaraku

And here’s the best advert on this list. And you better keep those tissues handy because it can kickstart the waterworks!

The ad begins with a father rushing to his deaf and mute daughter’s aid who is being teased by other kids for her disability. But years later, the once supportive father has lost all hope and no longer makes any effort to communicate with his child.

Will the girl ever learn to talk? Or will she continue bearing his father’s indifferent attitude towards her? Watch this moving commercial by U Mobile to understand just how important hope and patience can be in someone’s life.

This roundup captures why holiday campaigns work so well: they turn family, memory, care, and hope into stories people actually remember. For anyone who wants a lighter break afterward, summer rider fits the same upbeat, easygoing mood.

I’ve tried a lot of driving games lately, but Drive Mad stands out because success depends more on timing and balance than pure speed.
