Although not as popular as Mother’s Day ad campaigns, Father’s Day commercials have come a long way from cliched ties and toolkits. Brands are increasingly leaning on emotion, humor, and nostalgia to celebrate the everyday heroes who teach us how to ride a bike, fix faulty electrical appliances and leaky taps, or simply show up day after day. Father’s Day 2025 commercials tapped into these everyday moments, tugged at our heartstrings, and celebrated dads in all their glory.

So, here we are with 5 such Father’s Day 2025 commercials that made us smile and tear up a bit at the same time.

1. Arvind MensWear: The Unspoken Love

The strongest bonds of love are often the quietest ones. And they transcend from one generation to the next as seen in this heartwarming spot.

The advert brings into the spotlight the unique bond that exists between a father and his son as he watches and celebrates him reaching one milestone after another. While the son might not have fully understood the abundant love behind his father’s unspoken words, he finally comprehends the real essence of fatherhood upon the birth of his son and watching him grow.

That’s fatherly love for you– woven into routines, resilience, and the fabric of everyday life!

2. Himalaya BabyCare: Gentle As Dads

If the father-son bond is a special one, the one between a father and daughter is no less. This moving spot follows one such relationship between a woman and her father.

The ad follows their journey as their relationship evolves over time from that of playmates during the woman’s childhood to friends during her adolescence, and finally into an emotional anchor during her wedding. The ad showcases everyday moments of love and care between the two, with each moment portraying the father’s quiet, unwavering presence in his daughter’s life.

No, I am not crying, you are!

3. Canara HSBC: Dads Feel Scared Too

They hold back their tears so their kids can smile. They hide their fears so that their kids feel safe. They quietly bear the burden of protection, showing up always, no matter what because that’s what fathers do! And this tearjerker of a spot nails it.

The ad gets it just right with no overblown heroics, violins in overdrive, or over-the-top divine representations of fathers. Instead, it shows dads doing what they do– swatting cockroaches, catching hot cups of tea or water mid-air, and checking on strange midnight noises, all while feeling terribly scared on the inside.

However, a father’s strength doesn’t lie in their big muscles or indomitable courage. Instead, it is found in the understated message of standing up for their children in everyday moments with others often remaining oblivious to their feelings.

4. Atlys: Celebrating the Man Who Beat Time

Indian dads are known for their no-nonsense punctuality. This 30-second spot by the visa processing platform Atlys wittingly captures the near-mythical consistency of fathers in being early at almost every activity.

Set against a nostalgic voiceover, the ad cleverly reminds us that even before smartwatches and Google Calendar, there was always dad- reliable and always on time!

Honestly, I wouldn’t be surprised if I were to find out someday that dads were born earlier than usual too!

5. Ultra Tech: Papa Kab Khush Hote Hai?

Fathers are tough life coaches, who continuously challenge & nudge us to do more and be more in our lives. But do they ever take satisfaction in their children’s achievements?

This heartfelt spot pays tribute to every father who not only wishes to see their children succeed but also secretly prays for them to surpass their achievements too. Because when his children outshine him, a father truly wins!

And that’s a wrap of our series on Father’s Day 2025 commercials. From downright hilarious to heartwarming, Father’s Day ad campaigns this year were truly a revelation.
