The season of love is here and couples are busy posting some of the most cringeworthy reels on Instagram and TikTok. Well, a guy like me, who is in his mid-thirties, has been single almost all his life and has nearly given up all hopes of finding love, is bound to be cringed by anything even remotely related to love and romance. But I am also a marketer and I know a good marketing campaign when I see one, even if it’s for something as lame as Valentine’s Day (yeah, sour grapes, I know!).

So, here I am (albeit with a heavy heart) with some of the most awesome Valentine’s Day 2025 commercials that nailed creativity and romance. Let’s dive in.
1. NetFlorist: Show You Care
A thoughtful gift to your beloved is the easiest way to show them that you care. South Africa’s same-day gift service company NetFlorist perfectly understood this and came up with this creatively animated advert that’s accompanied by a somewhat lame but cute soundtrack.
The ad shows a guy thinking of what he could gift his crush Lola to win over her heart. Now while we don’t know whether the NetFlorist gift could help him impress Lola, the gifting company surely aced product placement with this advert.
2. TVS Credit: Be My Valentine
Everyday moments like shared glances, kind gestures, and unspoken bonds can grow into something special. This Valentine’s Day ad by TVS Credit showcased one such love story.
The commercial follows a woman noticing a guy practicing Yoga with other fellow passengers at a bus stop. One fine day their eyes meet, Cupid strikes, and love brews between the two. The ad ends with the girl getting on her knees and offering the pillion helmet to the guy.
Well, love could happen in the most unlikely places, even while stuck in traffic!
3. DoorDash: The Perfect Threesome
American online food delivery company DoorDash decided to dive into the intimate wellness category this Valentine’s Day with a rather racy commercial.

The two-part ad campaign began with a teaser showing a couple mulling whether they should order a “threesome” via DoorDash since every restaurant is fully booked for Valentine’s Day. No, before you deem the campaign cringy or perverted, watch the second part.
The 30-second hero spot reveals that the “third wheel” in the relationship is actually a delivery of flowers, chocolates, and whipped cream. Hmm, whipped cream on Valentine’s Day- the couple probably has a culinary use for it!
4. Flipkart: Snoring = Discounts
If there’s one thing that nobody wants in their partners, it’s got to be the endless snoring. But what if you could monetize it?
Indian e-commerce company Flipkart launched an ingenious campaign this Valentine’s Day, which allows people to record their partners’ snoring and avail discounts at its Snorestore. The louder their snores, the bigger the discounts! And why not? Their discomfort entitles them to at least some reward. After all, love is blind, not deaf!
5. Cadbury 5 Star: Destroy Valentine's Day
They tried to survive it. They tried to escape it. This time, they have decided to end it for good!
Yes, Cadbury 5 Star is back with its anti-Valentine’s Day campaign, and this time they want to destroy Valentine’s Day. And they have the ultimate weapon to that end- Uncles! Statistics suggest that every time uncles start engaging with a trend, it begins to decline. From trends like skinny jeans and YOLO to the use of the “😂” emoji and ‘BRB”, all of these have fallen prey to the increasing engagement levels by middle-aged men. And Cadbury 5 Star plans to deploy this decimating force to get rid of Valentine’s Day trends this year.
Will they succeed? Let’s wait and watch!
Wrapping Up
And that’s a wrap of some of the most wonderful Valentine's Day 2025 commercials. As much as I dislike Valentine’s Day and envy other couples, I loved the campaigns covered in this blog. Also, feel free to check out some of the other amazing Valentine's Day 2025 commercials.
