5 Belated Valentine's Day 2024 Adverts That No Romantic Should Miss

I know it’s almost been a month since Valentine’s Day. But has love ever been time-bound? I don’t think so. Plus, you know how difficult it is to keep an eye out on all commercials, especially if you’ve been trying to cover adverts on as many events and festivals as we do. But it’s never too late.

So, here we are with 5 amazing Valentine’s Day 2024 ads that, although delayed, are worth everyone’s time.

1. Jollibee: 30 Dates

They say that the way to a man’s heart is through food. Well, that holds for women too, especially if you’re being treated to the lip-smacking Jollibee food.

This Valentine’s Day advert by the Filipino fast-food restaurant chain Jollibee showcases the story of the brewing of romance between two colleagues who are also very close friends. With the girl’s birthday approaching, the guy decides to treat her to Jollibee for 30 days. As things turn out, they start falling head over heels in love with each other by the time the month ends.

Check out their wedding footage in the ad; they look like they were meant for each other right from the start. Jollibee can surely take some credit for making the two end up together!

2. NVPC: Share The Love

We love celebrating Valentine’s Day and all other important days with our loved ones. But have you ever thought of sparing a few minutes on this day to spend them with people who don’t have anyone to celebrate these days with? If not, NVPC can help you.

The Singaporean not-for-profit organization National Volunteer & Philanthropy Centre (NVPC) launched a Valentine’s Day campaign this year that encouraged Singaporeans to express and celebrate their love through volunteering with their loved ones. The 80-second advert shows people arriving at the NVPC center with their partners on Valentine’s Day to make a lasting difference in the community.

The NVPC campaign culminates tomorrow. So, you still have a day to add a dash of happiness to someone else’s life.

3. Pandora: Last-Minute Valentine's Day Jewelry Gift Ideas

If you’re a guy, you’ll know how challenging it is to pick jewelry for your female partner- thanks to the limited knowledge of most men in this field🙈

So, the Danish jewelry brand Pandora decided to come to our aid this Valentine’s Day and released an impressive 60-second advert that can help you decide what your lady love might like. The advert offers some great tips on how you can pick the ideal jewelry for your one-and-only by considering some important factors like her skin tone, her party preferences, and her overall personality. Based on these, the ad gives suggestions about the kind of jewelry you should go for.

Now, these tips are coming straight from women themselves, so it’s unlikely that you’ll ever go wrong about these. How cool is that?

4. Cadbury: Cadbury Occasions

Who says Valentine’s Day is only meant for people that you’re romantically involved with? Valentine’s Day is for love and love can manifest itself in many forms. So, Cadbury came up with a series of ads this Valentine’s that celebrates all such relationships.

The relationship between a woman and her mother-in-law is often fraught with tension, especially in South Asia. So, this Cadbury commercial sought to pay tribute to every mother-in-law who treats their daughter-in-law like their daughter.

And here’s one that thanks every father out there who’s spent his life caring and providing for their children and family.

But this one’s my favorite. This sweet 15-second ad shows a guy thanking his elder brother for always opening the door when he arrives home late at night.

You see, there's no better way to express your love for those who support and appreciate you unconditionally than saying it with Cadbury.

5. BigBasket: Saadgi

And here’s my favorite Valentine’s Day ad from this year. Also, it’s one hell of a tearjerker, so keep those tissues handy.

This heartwrenching 4-minute commercial by the Indian online grocer BigBasket showcases the story of a Sikh couple who are shown engaging in the little moments of happiness every day, year after year. The two lovebirds seem inseparable. But what happens when old age forces them to part ways? Thankfully, the two had formed countless memories with each other over the years to keep them going even if the other person wasn’t around.

This story of timeless and eternal love acts as a reminder to all of us that life goes by in the blink of an eye. So, live it to the fullest and love like it’s your last day.

Wrapping Up

And that was a wrap of some of the best Valentine’s Day adverts from this year. Creating an impressive Valentine’s Day ad requires one to come up with a script and storyline that resonates with people and makes them reflect on their own relationships. If your ad has got that element, there’s no way it won’t succeed.
