5 Egg-Ceptional Easter 2024 Ads That Hatch a Smile

Let me say this out loud- Easter is nearly not half as popular as Christmas or even Halloween! You will rarely come across Easter commercials featuring prominent celebrities or even an extra-creative billboard. Instead, they tend to be more family-oriented and heartwarming. So, all you get to see are bunnies, cute dogs, and eggs in all forms and sizes. And while most brands are yet to release their Easter 2024 ad, some of them are already at it, and trust me, you’d love them.

So, without any further ado, let’s take a look at 5 joy-filled Easter 2024 ads that we found too cute to resist.

1. Purdys Chocolatier: What Kids Really Want Experiment

We tend to get materialistic as we grow up. But kids- ah their innocence. They don’t want the riches of the world or the luxuries of a billionaire. Instead, a box of chocolates would make them just as happy as a brand-new Lamborghini would make you and me. And this 60-second spot by Purdys Chocolatier proves just that.

The ad features kids who are asked to choose between a Purdys box of chocolates and fancy and expensive gifts like jewelry, tickets to Hawaii, and mortgage payment. Guess what everyone chose. Yup, each one of them picked chocolates, except one of them who chose a puppy. But come on, a puppy is just as good as chocolate! Also, I’m pretty sure she must have come back later for chocolates too.

2. Aldi Ireland: Get Easter off to a cracking start!

Some adorable chocolate pups, mouth-watering candies, a table full of appetizing food, and indirect potshots at their rival M&S together formed Aldi’s Easter 2024 commercial.

The 20-second spot gives the audience insights into Aldi’s wonderful Easter offers. Also, the German discount retailer unleashes the full Golden Retriever power upon M&S by offering two lovely chocolate pups for an unbelievable price of £2.99. And then goes on to advertise it by saying that it’s available at half the price of M&S.

It doesn’t seem like Aldi is about to bury the hatchet with M&S this Easter!

3. My SPAR: Sweet Savings

I don’t know why they say men make better chefs; this 30-second My SPAR advert seems far from that claim.

The ad shows a man preparing a malva cake for his family, which looks a bit burned. And his daughter and mother also believe the same. But the man wouldn’t have any aspersions raised on his baking skills and continues to defend his cake and its burned smell and looks by calling it caramelized.

Fortunately, his wife is there to save the day as she has already ordered a cake from My SPAR. I bet that “caramelized” cake would have ruined the Easter fun for that family.

4. Asda: Come for the Eggs

Asda is known for dishing out fabulous Easter commercials year after year. And 2024 is no different in that regard.

The British retailer released a 20-second advert this Easter that shows a family waking up. The camera follows them to their farm, where they…yes, collect eggs. And those eggs look like they have come not from a chicken but an ostrich; I mean look at their size.

Also, they say that their hot, tasty buns are as good as those from M&S. M&S is yet to come out with a countermeasure and seems to have already ceded defeat to these potshots from its rivals.

5. Shoprite South Africa: Make the Table Bigger This Easter

Is it even a festival if you don’t celebrate it with others? The fruit of abundance lies in inclusion and this 60-second Easter 2024 ad by American retailer Shoprite underscores that.

The ad shows a family preparing for the Easter lunch when their daughter arrives. Throughout the ad, we see her trying to ask her parents something but the hustle-bustle of the occasion doesn’t allow them a moment of solitude. When her friends finally arrive, she asks her parents if it would be okay if her friends could join them for the Easter lunch. And of course, they say yes!

Wrapping Up

And that was a wrap of some of the best Easter 2024 ads. Although Easter doesn’t get even a fraction of the hype that Christmas sees every year, the Easter ads are second to none. Hopefully, the ads discussed in this blog will help you craft your Easter ad campaign next year.

We’ll be back with more awesome commercials for you. Till then, stay tuned! Also, the ClickInsights family wishes you a blessed and joyous Easter.
