Our previous blog on Eid 2026 commercials highlighted the subdued Eid festivities this year. But what is life without a bit of fun, frolic, and laughter? And that’s precisely why we keep returning with our #FunnyFridays segment every now and then to show that even during the darkest of times, one can always spare a smile and laugh their hearts out. After all, that is what life is all about– a series of sorrows punctuated by moments of happiness!

So, on that philosophical note (unusual times have an unusual effect on you, I guess🥴), let’s take a look at these 5 funny Eid 2026 commercials that proved that laughter is the best festive gift.

1. SJPP: Fenomena Ramadan

Hell hath no fury like an angry friend, and the rage only doubles up when two friends want to one-up each other, as seen in this advert by the Malaysian-owned company SJPP.

The ad opens with two friends from a trio splitting ways, or rather splitting up their food stalls, after they have a fallout because of their differing ideas for the food stall business. As both of them try to outdo each other, they lose customers due to the increased hassle of queuing up twice at the two stalls.

However, a freak accident followed by a chance encounter with food influencers @soyabelacan turns things around for the duo as they discover their signature dish ‘Ayam Matcha Berry Dam Dam Dum’ in the weirdest way possible! Soon enough, they rejoin their stalls as they realize the immense potential of them working together.

You see, having good friends by your side is good; having Lady Luck by your side is even better😜

2. CARing Pharmacy: Perfect Raya

Do you ever feel like you haven’t been able to have the perfect Eid? In case you do and wish to do something about it, this CARing Pharmacy spot will probably make you rethink.

The ad opens with a young girl, Aina, exhorting her family members to work towards achieving the perfect Eid. What follows next are tiresome Eid simulations of preparing the Eid feast, enjoying it, an Eid family photoshoot, and serving the guests with hilarious outcomes.

Honestly, I don’t have enough words to explain the ad to you– just watch it for some wholesome laughter😅

3. KWSP Malaysia: Apa Nak Risau?

There is some fun in watching the plans of cocky individuals go south. This ad by KWSP Malaysia revolves around one such fellow and his wife.

The ad opens with a couple getting ready to leave for the wife’s family home for Eid. When the husband asks his wife why she’s packing her clothes, she reminds him of their trip last year when their car ran out of petrol. Assuring her that nothing of this sort would happen again, they set off towards their destination.

While everything seems perfectly fine, the husband gets ambushed by a full-blown plot twist when their car doesn’t start after they leave the wife’s house. Thankfully, the wife probably saw this coming as she had packed clothes for both of them😅

4. Singaporean Government: Kisah Musim Raya

Honestly, I am no fan of music-laden adverts. But when it follows a tight storyline and has humor at its core like this Govsg spot, you surely can’t ignore it.

This Eid jingle by the Singaporean government follows a young girl, Aisyah, and her Eid mishaps as she learns that the real celebration isn't online, but in reconnecting with our loved ones. But that isn’t all– the jingle is humorous to the very core. Watch the ad and see yourself!

5. Foodpanda Pakistan: Old-Fashioned Deliveries

Foodpanda Pakistan took a dig at people resorting to the traditional form of placing orders for food and groceries in this funny 30-second spot.

The ad shows a young girl being amazed at her sister’s rather old-fashioned order placements as she calls out to her house help for the same. The ad takes her back to the old era, which is signified through the retro music being played out on the screen.

Thankfully, while the music of the old days is still relevant and soulful, we no longer have to rely on old-fashioned ways for placing orders. The ad is funny, memorable, and most importantly, relevant in today’s day and age!

Wrapping Up

And that’s a wrap of another #FunnyFridays segment. As these funny Eid 2026 commercials show, even in a year marked by restraint and reflection, brands found clever ways to sneak in a smile. Whether it’s friendships tested over food stalls, perfectly imperfect Eid plans, or everyday mishaps turning into comedy gold, each story reminds viewers that laughter doesn’t diminish the moment; it enriches it. Because at the heart of every celebration lies not just tradition, but togetherness, and sometimes, the ability to laugh at the chaos that comes with it.

We’ll be back with more awesome ad campaigns for you. Till then, stay tuned!
