2. Safed Detergent: Maa Ke Dil Jaisa Safed

As problematic as some of you may find it, white has often been associated with purity. And nothing is purer than a mother’s heart as seen in this impactful 90-second spot.

The advert opens with a woman and a young girl complaining to her school principal about the daily harassment suffered by the girl at the hands of a boy and his friends. While one might initially believe that the woman is the girl’s mother, it turns out that she is, in fact, the mother of the boy who’s been harassing the girl, whom she decided to help by complaining about her son.

You see, that’s a mother’s heart- it beats equally for all children!

3. SaharaCase: Thank You, Mom

Letters written from the heart are often the most emotional ones. Now, imagine one written to your mother on Mother’s Day!

This lovely 1-minute commercial shows a daughter penning down her thoughts in a greeting card on Mother’s Day. The card pays tribute to her mother and mentions the stellar role that her mother played in her life from raising her to shaping her. Also, it underscores how their relationship went from strength to strength as they turned from friends to best friends through the years!

Could it be any more heartfelt? I don’t think so!

4. BIBA: Make Moms Feel Seen

When a child is born, so is a mother. But while the world gathers around the newborn, the woman who brought life into the world often fades into the background. This film by BIBA is a gentle but powerful reminder to pause, notice, and celebrate the woman behind the role of “mom.”

The ad shows a new mother asking her mother for a gift after seeing her giving presents to her newborn. But just when she thinks that her mother got her nothing, she gives her a present from BIBA, underscoring that she’s still her first priority.

5. Apple: A Gift for Mom

And here’s my favorite Mother’s Day ad campaign from this year and boy it’s a tearjerker!

This short film follows the story of new parents Khulan and Sam. For one whole year, Khulan and Sam filmed their newborn son in spatial video on an iPhone. Sam secretly edited the spatial videos into a home movie for Khulan to watch on Apple Vision Pro.

For Mother’s Day, Sam surprised her with the home movie and a chance to relive her memories as if she were there again. Watch to see her reaction- it’s priceless!
