Hence, a follow-up blog on the best holiday adverts was in order. After all, there’s no way for me to not draw your attention to these amazing holiday ads from this year.
So, without any further ado, let’s dive straight into some more stunning holiday ad campaigns from 2023.
1. Apple: Fuzzy Feelings
Honestly, nothing that I write down here will even come anywhere close to an apt description of this 4-minute Apple spot. I mean not only is this ad very well curated but also encompasses an entire spectrum of emotions that you and I undergo every day in our lives. But to make an amazing advert out of it- well that’s something only the Apple marketing team could have pulled off.
Watch this beautiful ad to see your feelings transition from anger and frustration to empathy and kindness. As they say, always be a little kinder than you have to!
2. Chewy: Unbridled Joy
Wouldn’t it be great if our pets could speak to us like other people? Well, that’s one wish I’m sure every pet owner must have had at some point in their lives, but for the time being, enjoy the cute dog in this Chewy advert engaging in some friendly banter with its human friends.
The ad showcases a dog coming back to its senses after it went crazy upon opening a Chewy gift box that had a squeaky toy in it. As it turns out, there were more gifts for him lined up as one of its owners couldn’t desist from buying her dog gifts after seeing the amazing Chewy deals.
3. Macy’s: Hey Santa
How often do you see someone gifting anything to Santa? Well, all you need is one goofy little kid to break the trend as shown in this cute Macy’s advert.
The 1-minute spot shows a kid running helter-skelter in a Macy’s store with his father keeping a close eye on him. When the father-son duo along with the kid’s mother finally arrive at the aisle where a Santa is meeting kids, the lad presents the Santa with Macy’s shoes, leaving both Santa and the audience bewildered.
Well, that’s one way of surprising Santa!
4. Mercedes Benz: Holidays With Love
The very essence of a holiday lies in spending it together with your loved ones. Now wherever that together might be, it is all about getting there safely.
This 80-second Mercedes Benz commercial underscores the importance of being safe when you’re surrounded by people you love. After all, isn’t the well-being of our near and dear ones our primary concern every festive season?
5. Disney: A Wish for the Holidays
And here’s a commercial that had diversity written all over it and yet managed to retain the charm of a classic holiday ad.
The advert includes the globally recognizable song ‘A Dream Is A Wish Your Heart Makes’, from Cinderella, rearranged to enable multiple performers to come together with one united voice. It tells the stories of families from around the world, who are united by a universal wish to be together with their loved ones during the Holidays, recognizing a range of festive traditions, including Hanukkah and Diwali.
Also, unlike most of the other holiday ads that are centralized around Europe, this Disney commercial covers a wide geographical canvas and traverses across South Asia, Southeast Asia, and Africa other than Europe.
