In our previous Pride Month blog, we highlighted some of the best ad campaigns from this year, designed to leave audiences hopeful for a better tomorrow, where the queer community can exist just as happily as others. With audiences growing more aware — and rightly skeptical — the bar for authentic Pride Month campaigns keeps getting higher. This year, a handful of brands rose above performative gestures and launched ads that didn’t just talk about inclusion but demonstrated genuine representation and meaningful support for the LGBTQ+ community.

So, here we are with heartfelt 5 Pride Month 2025 ad campaigns that proved allyship is more than just a marketing moment — it’s a commitment you can see, feel, and believe in. Let’s take a look at them.

1. IKEA: Welcome With Pride

Prying eyes, non-welcoming gestures, and impolite behavior- these are just some of the things the queer community dreads confronting every day.

Thankfully, home décor and furniture brand IKEA took it upon themselves to make LGBTQ+ members feel welcomed with this heartwarming ad. The ad shows a girl placing a rainbow-colored doormat at the entrance of an IKEA store. Soon customers begin to notice it. Some pause. Some smile. Many take pictures. But all understand what it means.

The ad borrows the idea from the Indian tradition of welcoming people at the doorstep. IKEA India sought to reimagine that welcome with Pillemark—a mat that says, loud and clear: Everyone is welcome here.

More than just décor, it’s an invitation to build a world where allyship isn’t just spoken– it’s seen, felt, and shared.

2. Aer Lingus: Be True To Yourself

Ireland’s national airline Aer Lingus has launched an ad campaign this Pride Month, which emphasizes the importance of authenticity and self-acceptance, particularly within their workforce and in celebration of Pride.

The campaign highlights the story of Lesley, who embraces her true identity, both personally and professionally, and encourages others to do the same. The ad offers glimpses of how finding her place in the skies helped Lesley be true to herself. Throughout the ad, she shares how much she has evolved over the years and how her acceptance of her true self helped her find the love of her life.

The advert serves as the perfect example of how brands empower individuals when they stand behind their greatest assets- their employees!

3. Lucy & Yak: The Bonds Between Us, Nicky and Kitty

British clothing brand Lucy & Yak launched a heartwarming advert this Pride Month, which celebrates the connections within the LGBTQIA+ community.

The campaign showcases the bond and the importance of family support during a transition by highlighting the relationship between Nicky and her daughter Kitty. Nicky, a transgender woman, and Kitty, her daughter, run Nutshell, a family-founded non-profit, which both finds and funds therapy to support family members of trans and non-binary people. The ad shows the father-daughter duo talking about how Nicky's transition inspired the creation of Nutshell, highlighting the need for support for families during this journey.

A bit of love and support from our close ones– isn’t that what we all need in life?

4. Novartis: CommUNITY Belongs Here

A welcoming space, a group of individuals that you can call your own– that’s what a community is. In case you are wondering why community is important, this advert highlighting the importance of inclusion and belonging within the Novartis community will answer all your questions.

The 2-minute spot by the Swiss pharmaceutical brand Novartis shows its people defining what community means to each one of them. And from their responses, it becomes clear that true inclusion means showing up for each other, no matter who you are.

When you’re part of a community that lifts you, there’s no limit to what you can reimagine.

5. Sleepyhead: Straight Isn’t Default

Finally, here’s my favorite Pride ad campaign from this year. And boy, could it be more bold, unapologetic, and in-your-face?

The ad showcases a sofa with rainbow colors with a clear and precise message- Straight Isn’t Default! So, for all those staunch there-are-only-two-genders advocates out there, you better know that your opinions and sexualities aren’t the only ones that matter!

Wrapping Up

And that’s a wrap of some of the most heartfelt Pride Month 2025 ad campaigns. If you are a marketer or own a brand and wish to launch your Pride Month campaign, there’s something you need to realize. It’s not merely a marketing event that you must leverage. Rather, it’s about someone’s right to exist as and how they want to.

So, unless you believe in the cause and seek to do your bit to make a difference, stay away since you’re most likely to do a shoddy job and the queer community can certainly do without that.

We’ll be back with more mind-boggling ad campaigns for you. Till then, stay tuned!

These ad campaigns truly reflect a shift towards genuine representation and meaningful support for the LGBTQ+ community. It’s refreshing to see brands like IKEA and Aer Lingus embracing authenticity and connection. Personally, I think Crazy Cattle 3D also embodies the spirit of inclusion in its creativity. It's amazing to see how art can be used as a powerful tool for acceptance and dialogue. Let’s keep encouraging these positive changes in the advertising landscape!
