International Women’s Day has long evolved beyond symbolic gestures and celebratory greetings. This shift was more evident than ever in some of the ad campaigns from this year. Rather than relying on surface-level messaging, many campaigns leaned into authenticity, telling stories that felt real, nuanced, and deeply human. Whether through intimate storytelling or bold conceptualization, these campaigns didn’t just speak about women; they listened, observed, and reflected their realities with sincerity.

And as a platform that you trust to bring the best ad campaigns to you, we couldn’t have kept such commercials from you, even if it means blogging them up almost 2 months after International Women’s Day. So, here we are with 5 stunning International Women’s Day 2026 commercials that touched hearts and stayed with us.

1. Reliance Digital: Stories of Women in Tech

Technology moves the world forward. But when women bring their perspective into innovation, it moves the world forward with heart.

This video celebrates three inspiring women who are shaping the future of technology. From creating the world’s most affordable braille reader and a digital platform to reopen career doors for mothers to launching an AI-powered platform that has revolutionized fertility and motherhood, the stories highlight how these three amazing women leveraged technology to transform lives.

Their stories remind us that when women bring their perspective into technology, progress follows.

2. bol: Inherent Gender Biases

Even though we don’t realize it, almost everyone has gender biases, as shown in this 3-minute spot by the Dutch e-commerce brand bol.

The ad showcases a group of people answering a few questions without being told that it was actually testing their gender bias. Upon being revealed the results of the test, most of them are naturally shocked at their deep-rooted biases, something which many of them thought they had absolved themselves of over the years. However, the good part is that upon realizing their biases, they resolved to fight them and do better in the future.

As they say, recognize your prejudice in your first thought, and challenge it with a second one.

3. Welspun World: I Can Do It Too

Success is often contagious, and when it comes to women, they tend to rub off on them even more quickly when they see other women achieving it. This impactful advert by the Indian textile brand Welspun showcases young girls getting inspired by watching other women succeed.

From watching a disabled athlete pick herself up after a minor hiccup and seeing a female relative take massive business decisions to witnessing women feed not only their family but the entire country, the ad showcases young girls drawing inspiration from the achievements of women around them.

However, the best part of the advert was showing a young boy breaking the barriers of the so-called gender roles and being driven by his mother’s excellence, both at home and outside, as he tries to pick up on her culinary expertise.

After all, in a society based on gender equality, women don’t only inspire other women but men too!

4. United Nations: Rights. Justice. Action.

Women have been subjected to all kinds of violence for ages, with their rights, dignity, and honor being violated across different points in history. But enough is enough!

The United Nations launched this powerful campaign this International Women’s Day, highlighting the plight of women across the world, including in Sudan and Gaza. The ad stresses the need for pushback and exhorts women to stand beside one another to take back what’s rightfully theirs.

5. Fortune: When Everyone Shares The Kitchen, The Food Gets Better

While men nowadays have actively started sharing the load of household chores, it is still seen primarily as a woman’s job. However, this ad seeks to challenge stereotypes by smashing the age-old belief that cooking and cleaning are entirely a woman’s responsibility.

The ad showcases a man trying to help his wife on Women’s Day by taking on the cooking responsibilities for the day. However, his lack of familiarity with the kitchen means that he doesn’t know where the staples are kept. Annoyed by his constant queries, his wife tells him to go and cook at his place and invite her over when the food is ready. Surprised, the husband tells her that the house is also his, to which his wife asks him why he doesn’t know about the kitchen in his house if that’s indeed the case. The husband realizes his folly and apologizes for his mistake.

You see, as long as men keep waiting for International Women’s Day to make women feel special, even the most well-intentioned husbands would continue annoying their wives with such queries🤧

6. Zepto: A Small Thank You for the Women Who Do So Much

And here’s a bonus ad for you folks. This ad is featured here not because it fits the bill for the campaigns covered in this blog, but because this is precisely what is wrong with society today – celebrating women on a certain day and forgetting all about them for the rest of the year.

The ad features a husband giving his wife one gift after another. Alarmed by his sudden outpour of love towards his wife, the man’s father finally asks him if he’s doing it to make up for a mistake, to which the guy says that it’s Women’s Day. The spot ends with the man’s father also joining in and giving a gift to his daughter-in-law.

While the 45-second ad might seem funny to some, the husband’s notion of making his wife feel special only because it’s Women’s Day is concerning. As long as we don’t give women their due, we shall continue celebrating them and their achievements on just one day every year, displaying our tokenism in its ugliest form.

Damn, this ad didn’t strike a chord; it struck a nerve!

Wrapping Up

And that’s a wrap of some of the most stunning International Women's Day 2026 commercials. As these campaigns show, the most impactful International Women’s Day ads are no longer the loudest; they’re the most honest. They move beyond celebration and step into reflection, challenging biases, questioning norms, and highlighting stories that often remain untold.

At the same time, they serve as a reminder that real change isn’t seasonal. It doesn’t begin and end with a campaign or a calendar date. True progress lies in carrying these conversations forward– into homes, workplaces, and everyday choices. Because if these ads struck a chord, the real question is: what do we do with that feeling once the screen goes dark?

We’ll let that question sit with you until we return with some more impressive ad campaigns. Till then, stay tuned!
