Bacardi encourages and inspires the audience to be their truest self and recognizes the importance of being highly interactive with the audience by giving them an interactive digital experience that let their audience be the DJ. For example, the audience can use their keyboard to mix their track by pressing 1 to fast forward the audio speed by 10%.


2. Media Innovation Winner - Samsung

Samsung won YouTube’s Media Innovation Award by promoting Galaxy Note10 relevant to 3 unique audiences - Creators, entrepreneurs, and gamers. Samsung used audience and device data to get the right device features to the right audience with customized messages on YouTube. They have successfully created 36 personalized ads to drive 110 million impressions.

3. Force For Good Winner - Gillette

Gillette won YouTube’s Force for Good Award by focusing and enhancing its brand to be more connected to the next generation of men who care. Gillette changed their slogan to challenge the idea of what it means to be a man in which they started a dialogue and raise massive awareness. As a result, they achieved a 4% increase in P&G Grooming organic sales.

4. Ingenious Insight Winner - Hulu

YouTube’s Ingenious Insight Award goes to Hulu! Hulu is the first company in the world to create a 100% real influencer campaign on the platform promoted by basketball player stars. Their message is aimed directly at sports fans and their goal was to grow live streaming sports subscriptions. In 2019, they achieved 88% of subscriber growth.

This year, Apple has won the Brands as Creators Award! Apple showcased the features of iPhone cameras such as 4K, slow-mo, and time-lapse to create high-quality user-generated content. They are inspired by ‘How To’ trends, the ‘Experiments’ video series reached over 6Million views.

6. Action Driver Winner - Sandy Hook Promise

Sandy Hook Promise is the winner of Action Driver this year! To educate, raise awareness, and encourage young people to act on gun violence in schools, Sandy Hook Promise launched a storytelling emotional and powerful video on YouTube. This campaign drove a 500% traffic increase to its website.


7. The David Winner - Giving Tuesday Puerto Rico
